Papaya, Mango & Orange Juice Of The Week

Refreshing & Healthy Juice – It’s been a while since we bought you a Juice of the Week, it’s making a return today to celebrate the appearance of the sun and what better way than with a juice made from tropical fruits!

Not only does it look fab, it is also packed with goodness, tastes divine and is very refreshing.

You will need

1 Papaya
1 Large Orange
1 Mango
Some Ice

How to make it

Simply peel all 3 fruits, put them through your juicer and pour over ice.  Alternatively you can blend the ingredients with the ice to make a fruit crush. YUM!

What are the health benefits

Refreshing & Healthy JuicePapaya:  rich source of antioxidant nutrients such as carotenes, vitamin C and flavonoids; the B vitamins, folate and pantothenic acid; and the minerals, potassium, copper, and magnesium; and fibre. Together, these nutrients promote the health of the cardiovascular system.

Mango:  very low in saturated fat, cholesterol and sodium. They are also an excellent source of dietary fiber and vitamin B6, as well as a good source of vitamin A and vitamin C. Mangoes are rich in minerals like potassium, magnesium and copper, and they are one of the best sources of quercetin, betacarotene, and astragalin. These powerful antioxidants have the power to neutralize free radicals throughout the body. Ailments like heart disease, premature aging, cancer and degenerative diseases are due to these free radicals that damage the cells.

Orange: may boost your immune system and improve your skin; they also aid with heart health, cholesterol levels and other issues. Oranges may additionally help reduce the risk of respiratory diseases, certain cancers, rheumatoid arthritis, ulcers and kidney stones.
